Next Meeting: 21 January

A variety show is on the programme on Saturday 21st January at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway when the dirt, dust and explosive entertainment will begin as soon as the green flag drops with the Manawatu Saloon, Minisprint and TQ Midget Championships are decided.

It will be a massive night when the Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs make their presence known with fast and furious, doorhandle-to-doorhandle racing for the Manawatu Saloon Championship!

Minisprints are also competing for their Manawatu Championship, local heroes mixed with drivers from Wanganui and Taranaki will make for some of the best open-wheel Minisprint racing seen this season. It will all be on the line for one of the most sought-after titles in the Minisprint class, before their New Zealand title in February. Local drivers including 18p Daniel Nickel, 8p Nathan Jefferies and 72p Elliott Heron are all sitting well in the season points chase and are likely podium contenders.

TQ Midgets return with drivers from Western Springs and Hawkes Bay ready to descend and make their mark on the Manawatu TQ Championship! The TQs are pocket rockets on the dirt and display some of the best open-wheel racing!

This Saturday night has just got bigger - with the impressive winged wonder Sprintcars making their return to the Robertson Prestige International Speedway. Sprintcars are the fastest cars on dirt with their 800 horsepower engines, big wings and wide tyres and will provide motorsport enthusiasts with spectacular wheel-to-wheel racing, included in the line-up is V8 Supercar Champion – Shane Van Gisbergen. A spectacular night of open-wheel racing will hit the dirt at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway.

Plus, the metal crunching Stockcars are always willing to put on a show for the fans and the spectacular Midgets return, racing wheel-to-wheel!

Admission prices are $25 for an adult (16 years and over), $10 for children aged 8-15, and $60 for a family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.

Tickets can be purchased from our ticket booths at Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street) and Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 5pm. Gate sales only, cash or EFTPOS. No credit cards, no paywave. The dirt flies at 6:30pm.
