Attention: Prizegiving Date Change

Please note that the prizegiving for the 2025/26 season, previously advertised for Saturday, 2 May 2026, has been rescheduled to Saturday, 16 May 2026 due to conflicting engagements and clash of dates. 

  • Saturday, 16th May 2026 @ Silks Lounge, Awapuni Racecourse
  • Doors Open: 6pm, Awards Start: 7pm
  • Tidy dress - No Jeans, T-shirts, Hoodies, Team Apparel
  • Live Band | Buffet Meal | Cash Bar
  • $75 for Manawatu Speedway Club Members ($85 Non-Members)

Tables seat up to 10 people (smaller groups will be paired together).

Tickets are available from the Speedway Office during normal business hours, or by messaging the Manawatu Speedway Club Facebook page.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change and look forward to celebrating with you on the new date.

Remits Meeting

A remits meeting will be held Monday 11th May at 7pm in the Speedway Office. All drivers and riders are welcome to come along and have a say about the governance of your sport. This meeting will cover General Business, Nominations for President and Board Members for the upcoming SNZ AGM.

Season Ends With A Bang

It’s hard to believe we’re already here at the Grand Finale and the Brent Lowe Memorial Stockcars. Brent Lowe was a passionate, enthusiastic Stockcar driver who tragically passed away on 24 December 2015 at the age of 25. His memory will always be respected and honoured by the speedway community. Once again, the weather gods played very nicely - we have been so lucky this season.

Next meeting starts at and entry prices are as follows unless otherwise stated:

  • Adults (16 years and over): $30
  • Children (8-15 years): $10
  • Children (7 years and under): Free
  • Family (2 adults and up to 4 children): $70
