Saturday 27th December sees another night full of variety at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway from 6:30pm. Headlining the meeting will be the spectacular D.M.R Metal Recyclers Caravan & Boat Derby, plus the Manawatu Super Saloon Champs and Manawatu Minisprint Champs, with support from Superstocks and the future of speedway Youth Ministocks.
The Manawatu Super Saloon Championship will have you on the edge of your seat with their wide tyres, V8 engines and distinctive low sportscar bodies, these drivers are impressive racing wheel-to-wheel every lap! The racing is exhilarating from these drivers, with local Super Saloon drivers including Peter Bengston, Brendan Sharland and Martin Halcrow all looking to make sure that the title honours stay in town!
The Manawatu Minisprint Championship will be hotly contested, with local drivers looking to make their mark including Glen McCutcheon, Nathan Jefferies, Daniel Nickel and if the competition wasn’t hot enough, there’s the Stratford & Wanganui competitors who will no doubt have a shot at the title. With a strong contingent of travelling drivers, this championship title is really going to come down to the wire!
Superstocks will be also hitting the dirt with many drivers doing their final tuning for the upcoming New Zealand Superstock Championship at Wellington Speedway. The fast and spectacular racing from speedway's glamour class should not be missed!
Rounding out a massive night of racing is the D.M.R Metal Recyclers Caravan & Boat Demolition Derby. There is nothing quite like watching caravans and boats bashing and crashing around the speedway oval! This crazy event is always great family entertainment and will leave you in fits of laughter. It makes it a memorable evening at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway.
Please note: There are no Stockcars due to the North Island Stockcar Championship at Rotorua Speedway.

Admission prices are $30 for an Adult (16 years and over), $10 for Children aged 8-15, and $70 for a Family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
Tickets are available to pre-purchase online from www.eventfinda.co.nz, (tickets purchased incur an additional service fee) or on race day from Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 5pm. Racing starts at 6:30pm.
