A few hardy souls embraced the stiff westerly wind on the embankment while a large crowd filled the grandstand sheltered from the blustery conditions for Saturday nights Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular, Ray Tarrant Memorial Sidecar Trophy and Manawatu Stockcar Champs (Covid delayed 2019 edition) at Robertson Holden International Speedway.

Ramp Derby Postponed

Due to the current development happening at the Central Energy Trust Arena and the lack of facilities available we have decided to postpone the originally scheduled Ramp Derby from 7th November 2020 to the 28th November 2020 along with the Stockcar King of the Arena! Please note this change of date!

The Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular will still go ahead as planned on Saturday November 7th.

Speedway Roars Again

A large crowd enjoyed sensational racing as a massive field of 54 Superstocks, 57 Stockcars supported by two groups of Sidecars and Youth Ministocks as well as Minisprints and Super Saloons roared into action at the opening meeting of Robertson Holden International Speedway.

The countdown is on for the BIG season opener here at Robertson Holden International Speedway, in order to make your experience the best it possibly can be we would like to advise the following:

• Only public entry gates are Waldegrave & Pascal Street - please note these are the only entry points to the Speedway!
• Gates for public open at 5pm, gates accept both Cash & EFTPOS payments (no credit card) but in order to move the line quickly we recommend coming prepared with cash.
• Plenty of food vendors will be on site which accept cash and EFTPOS payments
