There is no doubt that the ENZED SuperStock Teams Championship is the biggest occasion on the country’s speedway calendar, and the Central Energy Trust Arena plays host to thousands of excited fans each year who travel from far and wide to be at this spectacular event.
The Central Energy Trust Arena has been selected as a finalist in the Best Venue category at the 2024 NZ Events Association Awards for the ENZED SuperStock Teams Championship, which proudly hosts the iconic event every year. This is a category which sees the ENZED SuperStock Teams Championship a finalist alongside venues such as Eden Park and the Wellington Regional Stadium for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Congratulations to the Central Energy Trust Arena for being announced a finalist, the winner will be announced on Tuesday 27th August.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Gary Bolton who passed away last week. Gary was a dedicated member of the push truck team at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway and he will be sorely missed.
There will be a remits meeting on Monday 22nd July at 7pm in the Speedway Office. All drivers and riders are welcome to come along and have a say about the governance of your sport. This meeting will cover general business for the upcoming SNZ AGM, board and president nominations.
